About

In the late summer of 2022, California and neighboring states provided inspiration for ‘Blurry Memories’. The big sun over the expressway, the starry sky above the Canyons and a dreamy festival in the desert, gifted us with music sheets seemingly already written.

On our return to Copenhagen, the arrangements of the songs started with purpose and without our bassist Fridge who found himself in exile. In fact the majority of the bass for this album was recorded in Woodsetts, Nottinghamshire, UK, in our impromptu “Woodcroft” studio.

The atmosphere of this album revolves around fragility, love, restlessness, challenging mentally and a longing for a change.

Except for the bass the recordings took place in our studio located in a bunker from WW2 in the northwest of Copenhagen.

All the tracks have been recorded and mixed by Em (Atomic Blue) using Tascam Portastudio 424 MKIII 8-Track /Compressor DBX II model 128 / Ableton 11 / Stella Artois / Various vintage and modern gear.

All the tracks have been Mastered by Andreas [LUPO] Lubich / Loop-O. The tracks were taped through Studer A80 at 38 cm/sec and equalized with Maselec Mea-2 / Manley Massive Passive. All additional improvements and the finalization were made digitally.

A special thanks to Joachim Michaelis for advices and precious suggestions about the production side.

The Cover-Artwork was curated by Roberto Agostini.
